Sydney’s latest skyscraper, the $2 billion Brookfield Place, is set to open a rooftop bar at its adjoining Shell House to cater for the influx of new tenants and the continuing rise of workers heading back to the CBD.
The Point Group has been appointed to run the Shell House rooftop at Brookfield Place Sydney. It is set to open a three-level hospitality experience spanning 1250 sq m of indoor and outdoor space later this year.
The new bar will join the Point’s portfolio, including the Dolphin Hotel in Surry Hills.
Located at 2 Carrington Street, Shell House will be the new home for NAB and connects to the 27-storey office tower that is the core of the Brookfield Place Sydney development.
Its well-known 400-tonne clock has been restored after being suspended in mid-air during the evacuation and rebuilding of Shell House.
Brookfield Place Sydney reached practical completion last month and NAB will join Allianz, Brookfield and Hub Moelis Australia as the key tenants. The first retailers to open on the upper and lower concourse levels leading from George Street into Wynyard station, will commence trading in July.
